In My Feelings...

I wrote this one night last week... I was in my feelings thinking about a certain someone and it just came to me... "like an epiphany"...lmao

I wish that WE

could just BE.

Happily eternally.

Then reality reminds me that it is just a fantasy

& it would never be

Just WE.

Just you and me

In this lifetime

Or the next.

I prefer to keep my distance 

That's why I don't call or text.

When I'm around you I fall

& my feelings grow because that's all they know how to do.

I keep it unknown while YOU run MY mind.

Alone with my thoughts I fantasize of how different life would be.

If it were

Just WE.

Just You and Me.

Our Love everlasting so blissfully.

Then as quickly as those butterflies hit me they fly away

and I'm left with the sting of reality's slap in the face.
